Title: Presence in the Gap
Gender: Male
Location: New Hampshire
About Me:
Since I was a child, I've had the sense that the world was not what it seemed. At 13 I read a book about out of body experiences that made no sense, but made perfect sense. This was followed in my late teens by the Casteneda series. In my early twenties I made forays into Tibetan Buddhism. Upon marrying and beginning to raise a family I became immersed in Judiasm as interpreted by Lawrence Kushner, Michael Lerner and the Reconstructionist movement. Throughout this time I continued my Buddhist Studies (a close relative has translated for the Dalai Lama and other high lamas and is well known in his own right–see berzinarchives.com).
I've recently read many of Wilber's works as well as those of Robert Thurman, Thich Nhat Hanh and Eckhart Tolle.
So I guess it is fair to say I'm a long time seeker of truth.
Searching-and occasionally glimpsing and experiencing the connection to the eternal is what keeps me smiling.
